Biography

Leora Yetnikoff is a neuroscientist interested in how neuronal and glial cellular systems work in tandem to modulate brain function, plasticity and behavior. As an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the College of Staten Island, City University of New York (CUNY), with a doctoral appointment in Neuroscience at The Graduate Center, CUNY, Leora mentors undergraduate and graduate students in molecular, cellular, neuroanatomical and behavioral laboratory techniques. Leora received her PhD in Neuroscience from McGill University in 2012.
